♦ Physiol., méd. Qui diminue le calibre d'un vaisseau par contraction de ses fibres musculaires (en déterminant la vasoconstriction). Nerf vasoconstricteur. Médicament vasoconstricteur. — N. m. L'adrénaline est un vasoconstricteur.
